Buyer's 

Inspection

A buyer's inspection is a comprehensive inspection of the home and all of its systems. . We'll provide an in-depth report, complete with photographs of defects to help you with your purchase decision. We always offer an on-site review following the inspection, helping you to fully understand the report when you receive it.

Pre-Listing

Inspection

Similar to the buyer's inspection, a pre-listing inspection is a fully comprehensive look at the home. This will let you know exactly what is happening with your home so you can make any necessary repairs and prevent any home inspection “surprises” and helping the home sale process move smoothly.

Crawl Space

Inspection

Do you know what is happening in your crawlspace? Most people don’t! Let us crawl through the spider webs and dampness for you! We can let you know what's happening with your home from the underside. From plumbing to HVAC to structure.

1 Year Builder's

Warranty

We will do a full inspection of your home prior to your 1 year builders warranty expiring.  This will help you create a punch list of items to have the builder repair before the warranty is expired. We can save clients thousands in repairs with this inspection.

Radon

Testing

We provide a 48 hour continuous monitoring test, which is standard for real estate transactions. During testing we ask the homeowner to observe “closed home” conditions. After 48 hours our machine gives us a readout onsite, so we are able to provide you results immediately and offer suggestions as to the next step.

What is Radon? Radon is the breakdown of radioactive uranium in the soil that enters your home. Radon is now the #2 cause of lung cancer in the U.S.

 I'm Scott Hill, owner and inspector with Foothills Inspections.  I began doing home inspections in 2019.  I have renovated 3 homes of my own and have experience with plumbing, electrical, as well as structural.  I love helping people make an informed decision in buying their home.

My family, wife Andrea, daughter Izzy and son George moved back to my hometown of Sparta in 2021, for a simpler life near family.
